Free Coin Appraisal Event
Citizens First Bank is hosting a coin appraisal event on Tuesday, September 13, from 10am until 3pm at 1442 Lincoln Way in Clinton, Iowa. The event brings curious crowd to the bank to learn more about their treasures.
Ron Beckstrom, member of the American Numismatic Association, provides his appraisal services free of charge, on a first come first serve basis. According to Beckstrom, “it seems that everyone has that one little box of treasures stashed in a sock drawer – it could be a coin from a relative that you’ve always been curious about.” Beckstrom is a lifelong numismatist – or coin enthusiast, and he has made a career out of his hobby. Mr. Beckstrom can tell you what your old coins, paper money and gold jewelry are worth, and will also buy them if you wish.
Beckstrom will take a look at coins, paper money and gold jewelry, but no precious stones please. Please don’t clean the coins!!
